Aleene was my sweet sister-in-law who was sincere, generous, and kind by nature. Keep in mind that one person can represent multiple things to her partner and children: Aleene was a constant asset to her children, but also an anchor to Mick and the entire family. The richer and more whole the family relationship, the stronger and more durable it is; these were the bonds of Aleene and Mick together. Aleene always enjoyed company and made anyone who visited feel at home. Aleene had a tremendous passion for food and cooking. It was consistently plentiful, tasty, and enjoyable; It was her way of bringing the family together to enjoy one of the many blessing God gave her. I know Aleene' passing is a terrible loss to the entire family, and she will unfailingly be missed. However, Aleene is an afterglow that will last forever. God Blessed Mick, her children, grandchildren and anyone who met Aleene. I know Aleene is at peace with God, because she loved Him so much.
