Obituary for Billy "Bill" Wayne Shocklee
Billy “Bill” Wayne Shocklee, 65, of Warm Springs, Arkansas, passed away at home, on Saturday, December 7, 2019. Bill was born on February 4, 1954, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, to Carl and Bonnie “Louise” Frasier Shocklee.
On September 8, 1972, Bill married the love of his life, Ada Caldwell. They were married for forty-seven years. Bill was a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, nephew, neighbor, and friend. He was a long-time member of the Brakebill Church of Christ, near Middlebrook.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Bonnie “Louise” Frasier Shocklee; son, Rodney Shocklee; brother, Eugene Shocklee; and sisters, Wanda Guzzardo, Etta Davis, and Bonnie Shocklee.
Survivors include, wife, Ada Caldwell Shocklee, of the home; son, Charles (Nicole) Shocklee, of New Berlin, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Jace Shocklee, Dylan McMullin, Deyla Cresap, Deshale Shocklee, Drake Shocklee, Jessica Shocklee, and Austin Shocklee; and great grandchildren, Nightlynn McMullin, Daylynn McMullin, Aleah Collins, Naiden Collins, and Kaylen Collins.
Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
