Obituary for Bobbie Lou McMullin Griffith

Bobbie Lou Bennett McMullin Griffith, 88, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, left this earth on November 2, 2019, at Pocahontas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Biggers, Arkansas on February 7, 1931 to Lee and Beatrice Bryant Bennett.

Bobbie married Ewert McMullin, in 1946. They were married for 35 years and raised nine children. After Ewert’s passing in 1981, Bobbie married Keith Griffith. Keith passed in 2012.

Bobbie was a longtime member of the Imboden Church of Christ.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Beatrice Bryant Bennett, first husband, Ewert McMullin; second husband, Keith Griffith; one daughter, Debra Sue McMullin; grandsons, Eric McMullin and Michael Griffith; six brothers, William, Rufus, Burley, Thomas, Ronald, and Bill Bennett; three sisters, Lucille Nichols, Mary Rogers, and Betty Greig; and stepson Brian Griffith.

Bobbie is survived by her three sons, Kenneth (Robin) McMullin, of Pocahontas, Clarence (Linda) McMullin, of Jonesboro, and Aaron (Becky) McMullin, of Linden, Tennessee; five daughters, Brenda (Clint) Madison, of Williford, Barbara (Pete) Lawrence, Ina (Ricky) Benson, Donna (David) Baker, all of Imboden, and Miria (Donnie) Wallace, of Black Oak; stepsons, Scott (Joyce) Griffith, of Iowa, and Thomas Griffith, of Washington; daughter-in-law Jan Griffith, of Paragould; grandchildren, Dina, Bridget, Kendra, Janea, Ashley, Trey, Brooke, Andrea, Sammie, Jeff, Rob, Daniel, BJ, and Alex; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

All services will be held at the Imboden Church of Christ, in Imboden, Arkansas, on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. Bobbie’s funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 2:00 pm; Wayne Herring, officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Union Cemetery, near Imboden.

The family is honored to serve as pallbearers.
