Brooksie Naomi Barnett, 91, of Pocahontas, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019. Brooksie was born on December 17, 1927, in Ingram, Arkansas, to W.W. and Ollie Buckley.
Brooksie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, neighbor, and friend. She was of the Baptist faith.
Brooksie is preceded in death by her parents, W.W. and Ollie Buckley; husband, Steve Barnett; sons, Larry Barnett and Steven Barnett; and grandson, Laramey Barnett.
Brooksie is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sandy Barnett, of Pocahontas; sister, Carma Jean Dyer, of Pocahontas; two grandchildren, Andrea (Tim) Junkersfeld, of Warm Springs, and Mathew (Chelsea) Barnett, of Pocahontas; three great grandchildren, Kevin (Paige) Barnett, of Searcy, Ryan (Emily) Throesch, of Pocahontas, and Brentley Barnett, of Pocahontas; three great-great grandchildren, Owen, Andrew, and Luke Barnett.
A graveside funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm, on Monday, December 2, 2019, at Randolph Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Pocahontas; Gerald Fears, officiating.
