Obituary for Donald "Don" Jacob Sibrava

Donald “Don” Jacob Sibrava, 85, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020, under the care of St. Bernard’s Hospice, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Don was born on Saturday, August 25, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, to Edward and Marion Grabowski Sibrava.

Don was a loving husband, son, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, neighbor, and friend. He was of the Catholic faith. In addition, Don was a proud veteran of the United States Army and an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Don is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marion Grabowski Sibrava; brother, Kenneth Sibrava; and sister, Dorothy Sharky.

Survivors include, wife, Agneta Egerstrand Sibrava, of the home; sons, Donnie Sibrava, of Chicago, Illinois, and Erik Sibrava, of Sherwood; daughters, Bernie (Ray) Jones, of Winchester, California, Vicki Towell, of Jonesboro, and Monika Rone, of Jonesboro; brother, Edward Sibrava, of Reedsburg, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Jacob Sibrava, Sammie Sibrava, Nick Sibrava, Raychel (Michael) Keeler, Kenny Jones, Mark Towell, Jacob (Hannah) Towell, and Jordin Rone; and great grandchildren, Everett Towell and Wells Towell.

Per Don’s final wishes, cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, in Pocahontas, Arkansas.
