Donald Eugene McElhaney, 59, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020. Donald was born on Tuesday, September 13, 1960, in Corning, Arkansas, to Joseph and Joyce Pence McElhaney.
Donald was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and a loving husband, father, brother, son, grandfather, uncle, cousin, neighbor, and friend.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Joyce Pence McElhaney.
Donald is survived by his wife, Carmen Gifford McElhaney, of the home; sons, Jared McElhaney, of Texas, James (Terri Jo) Gifford, of O’kean, Isam (Katherine) Gifford, of O’kean, John Paul (Angela) Alred, of Black Rock, and Noah Conour, of Mattoon, Illinois; daughter, Elizabeth (Tom) Conour, of Mattoon, Illinois; brother, Robert (Joan) Adams, of Hardy, Dewanda, of Maynard, and Ann, of Germany; grandchildren, Scarlett, Jonathan, Jamie Jo Lynn, Jordan, Annabelle, Tommy, Landon, Nova, Christopher, Gabriel, Faith Hope, and Emma Grace.
A graveside funeral service will begin at 10:00 am, on Monday, June 8, 2020, at the Lorado Cemetery, near Bono; Gerald Fears, officiating.
