Obituary for Dorothy Jean Kasinger
Dorothy Jean Kasinger, 86, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020, at Methodist Medical Center, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Dorothy was born on July 3, 1934, in Wheat, Tennessee, to Elbert and Edna Walker.
Dorothy was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin, neighbor, and friend. Dorothy loved her dog Cubb who gave her lots of love and companionship.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; Elbert and Edna Walker; son, Larry Kasinger; brothers, Arthur Walker and Kenneth Walker; and sisters; Helen Jackson and Ruth Neyhart.
Dorothy is survived by two children, Danny Kasinger and Sherry Kasinger; two brothers, Boyd Walker and Dwight Walker, two sisters Emma Bennett and Wanda Snapp; Special Nephew, Mike Kasinger; Grandchildren, Jude, Kasinger, Danny Kasinger, and Sherry Kasinger.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Friday, July 24, 2020, at the Maynard Cemetery, in Maynard, Arkansas, Gerald Fears, officiating.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Fears Family Funeral Home, in Pocahontas, Arkansas.
