Obituary for Dustin Shane JL Jones
Dustin Shane JL Jones, 32, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020. Dustin was born on Thursday, January 14, 1988, in Paragould, Arkansas, to Bobby and Cindy Jones.
Dustin was devoted son, brother, nephew, and uncle. The youngest of two children, Dustin grew up in Pocahontas. Dustin was a loving and caring person who always put others before himself, and to know him was to love him. Dustin had a big heart and will be greatly missed. His soul is finally at peace.
Dustin was also an avid outdoorsman who was often found with a fishing pole in his hand.
Dustin is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lawrence Hausman; paternal grandparents, JC and Virgie Jones; two uncles Dennis Hausman and James Hausman; and aunt Janet Hand.
Dustin is survived by his parents, Bobby and Cindy Jones; brother, Bobby Shannon Jones; grandmother, Delta Hausman; uncle, Victor Hausman; niece, Lindy Jones; nephew, Logan Dunkerson; and six cousins, Raven Hausman, Darren Casey, Jessica French, Alex Hausman, Dennis Hausman, and Eugene Hand.
Pallbearers are Jason Hampton, Greg Jones, Brandon Fortson, Joey Moore, Daniel Cagle, and Josh Cagle.
A visitation will be held in the chapel of Fears Family Funeral Home, on Friday, October 2, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. A rosary service will immediately follow, beginning at 12:00 pm.
A private graveside funeral service will follow at St. John’s cemetery, in Engelberg.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Luke Zitzelberger, Logan Dunkerson, Zac Grant, Johnathan Wren, Jerry Whitnell, and Dwain Hausman.
