Obituary for Emma "Tiny" Weisenbach (Cassidy)

Emma Cassidy Weisenbach, 84, of Maynard, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020. Emma was born on November 3, 1935, in Jarrett, Arkansas to Cleo and Oma Pickett Cassidy Sr.

Emma was a member of the Maynard Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother.

On December 28, 1952, Emma married the love of her life, William Lavern Weisenbach. They were married for sixty-four years.

Emma is preceded in death by her husband, William Lavern Weisenbach; parents, Cleo and Oma Cassidy Sr.; daughter Armenta Ann Weisenbach; brothers, Herbert Cassidy, James Maxwell, and Cleo Cassidy Jr.; sisters Melba Self, Ruth McCann, Laverne Johnson, Maxie Cameron Cherry, and Ruby Roberts; and great-granddaughter, Adriana Shanks.

Emma is survived by her son, William Randy (Sharrie) Weisenbach, of Maynard; daughters, Donna (Tim) Davis, of Wynne, Connie (Mike) Kasinger of Maynard, and Sherry (Donny) Griggs of Maynard; brothers, Ted (Peggy) Cassidy, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Foster Leo Cassidy of Columbus, Georgia; grandchildren, Tracy Meisner, Jamie Reed, Keith Davis, Jared Davis, Slade Weisenbach, Kyle Weisenbach, Jace Weisenbach, Luke Kasinger, Jacob Kasinger, Donny Joe “DJ” Griggs, Michelle Byers, and Amy Holder; 28 great-grandchildren and one on the way; one great-great-grandchild on the way; and her dog Buddy.

All services will be held in the chapel of Fears Family Funeral Home, in Pocahontas, on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Emma’s funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm; Ligie Waddell and Fred Strasser officiating. Emma will be laid to rest in St. John’s Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Keith Davis, Jared Davis, Slade Weisenbach, Kyle Weisenbach, Jace Weisenbach, Luke Kasinger, Jacob Kasinger, Donny Joe “DJ” Griggs.

Honorary Pallbearers are Michelle Byers, Amy Holder, Tracy Meisner, and Jamie Reed.
