George A. Lindner, 75, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away at his home, on Sunday, September 8, 2019. George was born on February 27, 1944, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to Herman Max and Anne Marie Bergman Lindner.
George was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church, in Pocahontas.
George is preceded in death by his parents, Herman Max and Anne Marie Bergman Lindner.
George is survived by his wife, Rebecca Helen Hewett Lindner; two sons, Frederick (Lisa) Lindner, of Batesville, and George A. (Jessica) Lindner Jr., of Longview, Texas; daughter, Denise Ann (John) Gearhart, of Ore City, Texas; four brothers, Herman (Ann) Lindner, of Columbia, South Carolina, Henry (Brenda) Lindner, of Pocahontas, Tom Lindner, of Pocahontas, and James Lindner, of Pocahontas; sister, Mary Helen Tyler, of Pocahontas; two grandchildren, Aaron Walker, and Aubrey Lindner; three great grandchildren, Kaden, Kyler, and Elizabeth Walker.
Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition. A memorial visitation will be held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm, on Monday, September 16, 2019. A prayer service will immediately follow, beginning at 7:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church, in Engelberg, Arkansas, on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at 10:00 am; Reverend Stephen Elser, officiating. Interment of cremains will immediately follow in St. John’s Cemetery. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall at St. John's.
