Hazel Josephine Erna Beiter Whittenburg, 78, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at the Five Rivers Medical Center, in Pocahontas. Hazel was born on Wednesday, August 14, 1940, in Lemay, Missouri, to Anthony Arthur “Art” Beiter and Dorothea Wilhelmina Catherine Wagner Beiter.
Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, Elton Dewitt Whittenburg; parents, Anthony Arthur “Art” Beiter and Dorothea Wilhelmina Catherine Wagner Beiter; brothers, Arthur John Clarence Beiter, Raymond George Beiter, Roland Frank Beiter, and Marvin William Beiter; sisters, Ethel Emma Beiter Perry, and Dorraine JoAnn Victoria Beiter Duffel.
Hazel is survived by her brother, James Douglas McArthur (Jane) Beiter, of Lemay, Missouri; sister, Ruth Frances Beiter (Robert) Ostrem, of Oakville, Missouri; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A graveside funeral service will be held at the Warm Springs Cemetery, on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at 3:00 pm; Gerald Fears, officiating.
