Herbert Lee McClish, 89, of Ravenden Springs, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Herbert was born on March 23, 1930, in Lake City, Arkansas, to Sam McClish and Louise Owens Robbins.

Herbert was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, neighbor, co-worker, and friend. He was a member of the Shannon Baptist Church, in Pocahontas, Arkansas.

Herbert is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathryn Novelle Hathcoat McClish; and granddaughter, Sarah Weed.

Herbert is survived by one son, Gary (Jeannie) McClish, of Ravenden Springs; one daughter, Dianne (Steve) Sparks, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; grandchildren, Keith (Leslie) McClish, of McCrory, Heidi (Jeff) Skudlark, of McCrory, Megan (Patrick) Lee, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Benjamin (Katrina) Sparks, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; seventeen great grandchildren; and eighteen great great grandchildren.

Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, beginning at 11:00 am, on Friday, August 30, 2019; Larry Rogers and Jimmy Ray, officiating. Herbert’s cremains will be buried in Rockford, Illinois at a later date.
