Imogene Bolien King, 77, of Biggers, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019. Imogene was born on November 30, 1941, in O’kean, Arkansas, to Alvien and Georgia Judd Bolien.
On November 2, 1960, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, Imogene married the love of her life, Charles L. King. They were married for fifty-nine years. Imogene was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, neighbor, and friend. She was a long-time member of the United Pentecostal Church, in Pocahontas.
Imogene is preceded in death by her parents, Alvien and Georgia Judd Bolien; son, Larry King; brother, Bob Bolien; sister, Carolyn Brannon; and daughter-in-law, Melissa King.
Imogene is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Charles L. King, of the home; two sons, David (Terry) King, of Reyno, and Jim King, of Knobel; daughter, Stephanie (Steve) Wiles, of Reyno; sister, Beverly (Jack) Siler, of Texarkana, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, Krickett, Tigarre, Ethan, Mary, Harley, Charlie, Carley, Jimmy, Laura, and Alexandra; five great grandchildren, Eben, Milo, Alma, Abigail, and Scarlett; sister-in-law, Mary Bolien, of Ravenden Springs; daughter-in-law, Tammie King, of Biggers; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
All services will be held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, on Thursday, October 10, 2019. Visitation will be from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Imogene’s funeral will immediately follow, beginning at 1:00 pm; Jerry Cochran, officiating. Burial will follow in the Randolph Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Pocahontas.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Ethan King, Charlie King, Austin Bailey, Danny Morris, Jerry Morris, and Billy Siler.
The family wishes to respectfully designate Jimmy King and Shane Woods as honorary pallbearers.
