Obituary for Steve Risenhoover
James Steven “Steve” Risenhoover, 66, of Reyno, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Thursday, October 31, 2019. Steve was born on May 19, 1953, in Maynard, Arkansas, to James Cecil and Alma Dean Pyles Risenhoover.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, James Cecil and Alma Dean Pyles Risenhoover.
Survivors include, wife, Lisa Christine Barber Risenhoover, of the home; three sons, Steven Eugene Kincade, of Alabama, James Steven Risenhoover Jr., of Reyno, and Darwin Scott Risenhoover, of Reyno; daughter, Valisa D. Risenhoover, of St. Louis, Missouri; two sisters, Linda Hawk, of Reyno, and Dianna (David) Griffith, of Pocahontas; granddaughter, Paisley Risenhoover, of St. Louis, Missouri; and many other family and friends.
A graveside service will begin at 2:00 pm, on Monday, November 4, 2019, at the Johnston Cemetery, in Reyno; Roger Hovis, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the family to help cover the costs of Steve’s final arrangements.
