Obituary for Johny Wayne McManners
Johny Wayne McManners, 69, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at the Lawrence Hall Nursing Home, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. Johny was born on October 3, 1949, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to Rufus and Alma Nimmo McManners.
Johny is preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Alma Nimmo McManners; brothers, Gerald, Bob, and Hershel; and sister, Bertha.
Johny is survived by two daughters, Jonita (Sammy) Chaisson, of Pocahontas, and Barbara (Greg) Meeks, of Pocahontas; sisters, Jessie McManners, of Michigan, and Bessie (Raymond) Sorg, of Pocahontas; six grandchildren, Michael (Chelsea) Clark, of Pocahontas, J.K. (Danielle) McWilliams, of Pocahontas, Evan (Savannah) McWilliams, of Pocahontas, Cassie (Jacob) Morales, of Pierre Park, Louisiana, Cody Chaisson, of Pocahontas, and Cole Chaisson, of Pocahontas; eleven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition. A memorial visitation will be held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, on Saturday, October 5, 2019, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
