Karyl Ann Houston Buchanan, 76, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, formerly of Kansas, passed away on Sunday, March 08, 2020, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Karyl was born on March 05, 1944, in Manhattan, Kansas, to Ralph and Winifred Jantz Houston.
Karyl is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Winifred Jantz Houston; and husband, Ronald Buchanan.
Karyl is survived by her daughter, Kimberly “Kim” (Jack) Archer, of Pocahontas; son, Timothy “Tim” Buchanan, of Emporia, Kansas; sister, Cinda Holloway, of Waynesville, Missouri; and grandchildren, Tristan Overbay, Trevor Overbay, Makenna Archer, Alycia Buchanan, Patrick Buchanan, Katie Buchanan, Daniel Buchanan, and James Buchanan.
Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition; burial at a later date in Kansas.
