Obituary for Pauline Reeves
Pauline Snyder Reeves, 86, of Herculaneum, Missouri, formerly of Northeast Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019. Pauline was born on October 16, 1933, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, to Fred and Grace Ary Snyder.
Pauline was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, neighbor, co-worker, and friend. She was a former member of the Freedom Church, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.
Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Grace Ary Snyder; husband, Lavelle Reeves; three brothers, Lehman Snyder, Edward Snyder, and Fred Snyder Jr.; two sisters, Emma Walton, and Earline Snyder; and granddaughter, Stephanie Dawn Reeves.
Pauline is survived by two daughters, Cathy Reeves, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Vickie Reeves (Steve) Burton, of Greenville, Mississippi; son, Steven (Linda) Reeves, of Columbia, Missouri; three brothers, David Snyder, of Maynard, Carl Snyder, of Pocahontas, and Alfred Snyder, of Maynard; six grandchildren, Melinda (Kevin) Presson, of St. Louis, Chad (Angie) Burton, of Black Rock, Lynette (Chris) VanDamme, of Arnold, Missouri, Joshua (Jessica) Burton, of Richmond Heights, Missouri, Sarah (Jason) Adams, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Hannah Reeves, of Columbia, Missouri; and fourteen great grandchildren, Courtney, Brittney, Briar, David, Corey, Elizabeth, Jacob, Caleb, Destiny, Callie, Michael, Rachel, Luke, and Micah.
All services will be held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. Visitation will be from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Pauline’s funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 1:00 pm; son-in-law, Steve Burton, officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.
Honored to carry Pauline to her final earthly resting place will be Briar Presson, Corey Presson, Jacob Presson, David Ainsworth, Caleb Burton, Cathy Reeves, and Vickie Burton.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made, in Pauline’s memory, to the Scenic Memory Unit (Alzheimer’s Unit), 1333 Scenic Drive, Herculaneum, Missouri 63048.
