Lucien Pratt Jr., 76, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, formerly of Randolph County, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019, at the Baxter County Regional Medical Center, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Lucien was born on Saturday, September 12, 1942, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to Lucien Dean Pratt and Lorine Raglin Pratt.

Lucien was a long-time resident of Randolph County, Arkansas, and a proud veteran of the United States Army.

Lucien is preceded in death by his parents, Lucien Dean Pratt and Lorine Raglin Pratt; son, Tommy Joe Pratt; brothers, J.T and Bobby Joe Pratt; sister, Joyce Ann Jones; and first wife, Betty Lougene Eads Pratt.

Lucien is survived by his wife, Effie Marie Peterson Pratt, of the home; daughter, Brenda (Junior) Peterson, of Mountain Home; brother, Gary Don (Rebecca) Pratt, of Maynard; seven grandchildren; and twenty-two great grandchildren.

All services will be held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, on Tuesday, August 27, 2019. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. Lucien’s funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 2:00 pm; Gerald Fears, officiating. Burial will follow in the Maynard Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jeremy Peterson, Jr. Peterson, Michael Pratt, T.J. Owens, Katelynn Peterson, and Devin Halcroft. The family has respectfully designated Noah Dean as an honorary pallbearer.
