Obituary for Mary Ellen Cozart (Wright)
Mary Ellen Wright Cozart, 97, of Maynard, Arkansas, passed away at the Randolph County Nursing Home, on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. Mary was born on Saturday, March 3, 1923, to Binnie and Lucy Elnora Wright.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Binnie and Lucy Elnora Wright; husband, John Logan Cozart; and her son, Larry Dean Cozart.
Mary leaves behind her son, Danny (Rose) Cozart, of Maynard, Arkansas; one grandchild, Melissa (Sean) Foster, of Maynard, Arkansas; and two great grandchildren, Jake Logan Foster and Gloria Foster.
All services will be held in the chapel of Fears Family Funeral Home, in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Visitation will be on Monday, August 10, 2020, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Mary’s funeral service will immediately follow beginning at 12:00 pm; Melissa Foster, officiating. Burial will follow in the Ingram Cemetery.
Due to COVID-19 directives, issued by the Governor of Arkansas specifically for funeral services, the following will be required in order to attend the visitation and/or funeral service: wearing of a face mask, signing the contact registry, and maintaining all social distancing requirements.
