Norman Thomas Blansett, 84, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Norman was born on February 27, 1935, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to Rushel Casper and Mae Inez Riggs Blansett.
Norman is preceded in death by his parents, Rushel Casper and Mae Inez Riggs Blansett; wife, Joyce Arlene Blansett; and brother, Robert “Bob” Blansett.
Norman is survived by two daughters, Lisa Ann Blansett, of Cranston, Rhode Island, and Kristen Beth (Douglas Ray Hackler Jr.) Blansett, of Pocahontas; three brothers, Russ Blansett, of Oak Hills, California, Kenneth (Nadine) Blansett, of Placentia, California, and Jim (Catherine) Blansett, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; grandchildren, Megan Ashley (Cliffton Wampler) Blansett, of Pocahontas, Ryun Thomas (Destiny Anderson) Blansett, of Pocahontas, Nicolaus Kyle (Courtney Quick) Blansett, of Pocahontas, Heide Elisabeth Blansett, of Pocahontas, and Eleanor Trimm, of Cranston, Rhode Island; great grandchildren, Devin Jacob Snyder, Julienne Ava Snyder, Jayden Thomas Blansett, Raegyn Kate Blansett, and Lauryn Nicole Blansett.
The family would like to give a special "Thank You" to the wonderful and caring staff of Legacy Hospice for all the care and comfort Norman received.
Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition. A memorial service for Norman Thomas Blansett will be held at 2:00 pm, in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, on Tuesday, October 22, 2019.
