Obituary for Otis David Allen Jr.
Otis David Allen Jr, 79, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away at the Pocahontas Nursing and Rehab Center, on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. David was born on Wednesday, August 6, 1941, to Otis David and Beatrice Jesse Jewel Hoke Allen Sr.
David was a loving son, brother, uncle, neighbor, and friend. He was also a member of the Sutton Free Will Baptist Church in Pocahontas.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Otis David and Beatrice Jesse Jewel Hoke Allen Sr; two nieces, Pamela Ann Shields and Angel Charlene Davis; and a special cousin, Tommy Reed.
David leaves behind three brothers, Harold (Diane) Allen, of Walnut Ridge, James Darrell Allen, of Hoxie, and Vernon Laurel Allen, of Walnut Ridge; three sisters, Patricia Ann Shields, of Hoxie, Dorothy Louise Davis, of Hoxie, and Brenda (Renny) Propst, of Black Rock; and many nieces, nephews, other loved ones and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery, on Friday, October 23, 2020, at 10:00 am; Gerald Fears officiating.
