Obituary for Patsy Louise Spencer Tucker

Patsy Louise Spencer Tucker, 78, of Ravenden Springs, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center, in Jonesboro. Patsy was born on Sunday, March 30, 1941, in Lepanto, Arkansas, to William and Effie Mae Hawkins Spencer.

Patsy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, cousin, neighbor, and friend. Her greatest joy in life was found in taking care of her family.

Patsy is preceded in death by her husband, Burie Tucker; parents, William and Effie Mae Hawkins Spencer; and brothers, James and Jerry Spencer.

Patsy is survived by two sons, Manuel (Pandora) Tucker, of Pocahontas, and Steven (Nancy) Tucker, of Marmaduke; two daughters, Pamela Tucker, of Ravenden Springs, and Rebecca (Wayne) Sluder, of Ravenden Springs; three sisters, Carolyn Patterson, of Bay, Betty Moore, of Jonesboro, and Shirley Brooks, of Lepanto; grandchildren, Christopher Tucker, Amber Beier, Heather Gonzalez, Burt Eggleston, Nichole Robbins, Danuel Tucker, Lukas Hamlin, Elisha Hamlin, and Heather Noble; great grandchildren, Layton Tucker, Dillon Tucker, Nathaniel Tucker, Jody Gonzalez, Carley Gonzalez, Lilly Gonzalez, Megan Fisher, Jacob Pogue, Jared Pogue, Brandon Pogue, Alyssa Beier, Zach Beier, Josh Beier, Xavier Kelly, Lily Eggleston, Danuella Tucker, and Rylee McGee; and great great grandchildren, Atticus Pogue, and Zofia Pogue.

All services will be held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, in Pocahontas. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, on Thursday, September 12, 2019. Patsy’s funeral service will begin at 11:00 am, on Friday, September 13, 2019; Gerald Fears, officiating. Burial will follow in the McIlroy Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Danuel Tucker, Lukas Hamlin, Lin Hensley, Burt Eggleston, Phil Hamlin, and James Adams.
