Obituary for Pauline Brown (Ivy)

Pauline Ivy Brown, 89, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020. Pauline was born on Sunday, November 30, 1930, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to George and Oma Hudson Ivy.

Pauline was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, neighbor, and friend. She was a long-time member of the Church of Christ.

Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Brown; parents, George and Oma Hudson Ivy; brothers, Rex and Harold Don Ivy; and sister, Pearline Collins.

Pauline is survived by two sons, Charles Rick Brown, of Doniphan, Missouri, and Roger (Emma) Brown, of Mountain Home; grandchildren, Sherry (Joe) Kliethermes, of Villa Ridge, Missouri, Charles Ross (Kristina) Brown, of Doniphan, Missouri, Terence Brown, of Pocahontas, Serena Wells, of Walnut Ridge, Joey Guilliams, of Mountain Home, and Tammy Guilliams, of West Memphis; and great grandchildren, Blake Bannister, Corry Riga, Camden, Kipton, and Kingston Brown, and Madison, Lindsey, and Garrett Wells.

All services will be held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, on Friday, May 1, 2020. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. Pauline’s funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 2:00 pm; Darrell Fears, officiating. Burial will follow in the Randolph Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Pocahontas.
