Obituary for Ruthan Riney (Lassen)
Ruthan Lassen Riney, 70, of Maynard, Arkansas, passed away peacefully, at her home, on Sunday, August 16, 2020. Ruthan was born on Saturday, October 15, 1949, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to Homer Hubert and Hazel Fern Wilkerson Lassen.
Ruthan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor, and friend. She was also a member of the New Covenant Christian Church, in Maynard.
Ruthan is preceded in death by her parents, Homer Hubert and Hazel Fern Wilkerson Lassen; daughter, Nancy Ruth Riney; brother, Norman Lassen; and sister, Betty Biggs.
Ruthan leaves behind her husband, Dick Riney, of the home; two daughters, Brenna Shea (Jacob) Tidwell, of Maynard, and Tonya Marie Nelson, of Bettendorf, Iowa; one sister, Clara Ellis, of Pocahontas; and four grandchildren, Joel, Jordan, and Joanna Tidwell, and Ryleigh Renee Robinson.
Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition. A memorial service will be held for Ruthan, at a later date.
