Sarah Ann King, 44, of Newport, Arkansas, formally of Pocahontas, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019. Sarah was born on August 8, 1975, in Rockford, Illinois, to Gary King and Debbie Boyle Cook.
Sarah formally served with the Pocahontas Police Department.
Sarah is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Jack King and Jessie Redmon; and stepmother, Kathie King.
Sarah is survived by her daughter, Heather (Adam) Arnold, of Jonesboro; mother, Debbie (Harley) Cook, of Longview, Texas; father, Gary King, of Delaplaine; brother, Jason (Sierra) King, of Annieville; sisters, Rebecca King, of Duncanville, Texas, Jennifer (Andrew) Rogers, of Pocahontas, and Angela Chadister, of Batesville; stepsisters, Brandy Gambill, of Jonesboro, and Cassie (Geoff) Jones, of Walnut Ridge; grandchildren, Aubri and Evelyn Arnold, of Jonesboro; grandmothers, Mildred King, and Lola Redmon; stepbrothers, Larry Cook, and Waylan Cook; stepsister, Terrie Crawford; fiancé, Jimmy Fox; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
All services will be held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, in Pocahontas. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, on Friday, November 8, 2019. Sarah’s funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 3:00 pm, on Friday, November 8, 2019; Gerald Fears, officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the Jones Ridge Cemetery, in Delaplaine.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Steve Boyle, Rick Boyle, Jeremy King, Jason King, Tuff King, and Andrew Rogers. The family wishes to respectfully designate Dale, Danny, Troy, and Jay King as honorary pallbearers.
