Obituary for Susan Ann Moore Thielemier Johnson

Susan Ann Moore Thielemier Johnson, 65, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away at the St. Bernards Five Rivers Medical Center, on Sunday, October 25, 2020. Susan was born on Saturday, July 2, 1955, in Warm Springs, Arkansas, to F. Glendon and Virginia Ann Green Moore.

Susan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, neighbor and friend. She was also a member of the Pocahontas Kiwanis Club, a member of the National Women’s Press Association, a former journalist for the Star Herald, and a major supporter of the Downtown Playhouse.

Susan is preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Ann Green Moore; first husband, Thomas Edward Thielemier; brother, Dennis Moore; and sister, Karen Moore.

Susan leaves behind her husband, Gary Johnson, of the home; her father, F. Glendon Moore, of Pocahontas; one son, Jeremy Thielemier, of Pocahontas; two daughters, Misty Thielemier, of Pocahontas and Ginger (Quentin) Bales, of Paragould; two brothers, Marty (Carol) Moore, of Pocahontas and Mark (Cindy) Moore, of Maynard; two grandchildren, Mallorye (Matt) Wesley, of Paragould and Blake Bales, of Paragould; three great granddaughters; one sister-in-law, Sherry Moore, of Pocahontas; one brother-in-law, Roger D. (Kim) Johnson; and many other loved ones and friends.

All services will be held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. Susan’s visitation will be held from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. Susan’s funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 2:00 pm; Nelson Henderson, officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Garden.

The following individuals are honored to carry Susan to her final earthly resting place, Chad Thielemier, Denny Moore, Bryer Moore, Dale Thielemier, Matt Wesley and Jason Couch.

Due to COVID-19 directives, issued by the Governor of Arkansas specifically for funeral services, the following will be required in order to attend the visitation and/or funeral service: wearing of a face mask, signing the contact registry, and maintaining all social distancing requirements.
