Thomas “Tom” L. Jones, 69, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019. Tom was born on Wednesday, April 12, 1950, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, to Doyle Levell and Dorothy Hill Jones.
Tom was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. In addition, he loved helping people and was a 2nd Master in the Shriner’s International Organization.
Tom is preceded in death by his father, Doyle Levell Jones; brother, Johnny Doyle Jones; and sister, Dorothy “Dottie” Jones.
Tom is survived by his mother, Dorothy Hill Jones, of Pocahontas; two brothers, Randy Jones, of Pocahontas, and Phillip E. (Judy) Jones, of Pocahontas; and sister, Eva (Jimmy) Neece, of Pocahontas.
All services will be held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, on Friday, September 6, 2019. Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Tom’s funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 12:00 pm; David Tribble, officiating. Burial will follow in the Randolph Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Pocahontas. Full military honors will be presented.
