Obituary for Wesley Hay Nibert

Wesley Hay Nibert Jr, 88, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020. Wesley was born on Thursday, July 7, 1932, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to Wesley Hay and Nola Nadine Rice Nibert Sr.

Wesley was a gospel preacher for many years within Randolph County and the surrounding areas. He was a member of Skaggs Church of Christ in the last years of his life.

Wesley is preceded in death by his spouse, Vernell Mcllroy; parents, Wesley Hay and Nola Nadine Nibert; son, Kyle Nibert; daughter, Kollett Hansen; sister, Betty Stubblefield; and brother-in-law, Perry Stubblefield.

Wesley leaves behind one son, Kim (Brenda) Nibert, of Pocahontas; brother, Larry (Barbara) Nibert, of Republic, Missouri; grandchildren Brad (Ashley) Hansen of Jackson, Tennesse, Ardith (Justin) Johnston of Bloomington, Indiana, Jonathan Nibert of Dearborn, Michigan, James Bagwell of Pocahontas, Joseph Bagwell of Pocahontas, Stephanie (Shawn) O’Donnell of Pocahontas, great grandson, Wesley Johnston of Bloomington, Indiana and many, many step-grandchildren and other friends and loved ones.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Masonic Cemetery; Gerald Fears officiating.
