Obituary for Willard "Dub" Jones
Willard “Dub” Jones, 73, of Maynard, Arkansas, passed away, on Friday, June 26, 2020, at the Community Compassion Center of Batesville, Arkansas. Dub was born on Sunday, November 10, 1946, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to Edgar and Gladys Walker Jones.
Dub was a loving son, husband, father, brother, grandfather, neighbor, and friend. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp and is a member of the American Legion.
Dub is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Gladys Walker Jones; four brothers, George, Henry, James, and Bill; three sisters, Sue, Ellen, and Christine.
Dub is survived by his wife, Rita; two sons, Michael Jones and Jeff Johnson; three daughters, Marcella Thacker, Michelle Yeardan, and Rita Michele Brosig; three brothers, Jerry, Harold, and Ralph; one sister, Barbara Jean; six grandchildren, Ashley, C.R., Jeffrey, Emily, Connor, and Ragan; and many friends and loved ones.
Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition. No services have been scheduled at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Doni Martin Center for Developmental Services, 1506 North Park Street, Pocahontas, Arkansas 72455.
